All these years I thought Mother's Day was just on one Sunday in May. No one ever clued me in that it was a weekend thing. Now I feel like the worlds worst child for not calling my mother today. It is much too late where she is for me to call now.
Whine whine whine. Another spoiled little baby who is upset because she is having to be a mommy while her husband plays with his friends. Let me clue you in on something. Mothers Day is not about you and your husband. It is about you and your children. Yes the husband was involved in the process of you becoming a mother, but really.... any man with working pipes can make that possible. You should be spending this time with your children and thinking about how blessed you are to even be able to call yourself a Mother. Not all women are lucky enough to do that and not by their own choice. Here you are complaining because your husband is not home on the day before mother's day. And because the boxes that came in the mail are for him and not you. News Flash! Today is not Mothers Day.
And what is this business about your husband not calling you? He doesn't have a cell? You have no way of contacting him on your own? Or are you just pouting because he said he would call you and he hasn't and whine whine whine some more. Geesh.

I have a friend IRL who is like this. Had her DS at 16 and now they go to concerts and get drunk on the weekends together. She wasn't ready to be a mom when he was born and for some reason is now stuck being forever 16. It wasn't so bad when she was 19 or even 25 but now at 35 it's getting sort of sad. It's also sort of creepy to see a 19yr old guy who would rather hang out with his mom than girls his own age.

Look I am a mother! I have three beautiful living children HOWEVER I also have a child that passed shortly after birth. My oldest refers to that child as our guardian angel and I have to say that title seems to fit perfect.

Hallmark has made a way of blowing this special day into yet another day to get something! Do we really need a gift to make us feel special? Why is that a simple hug is not enough? Why is it seeing a little one run up to you with bedhead is not enough? Why is it being able to simply hear "Happy Mudder's Day" not enough? Or hell for that matter... Why is that hearing "Mommy, I am done" after a little one has done the deed not enough lol? Well frankly it darn well should be!
You all should sit back and realize just how much more important it is to be able to feel, see, smell and simply be needed by your children is!

Wow it’s been a long time since I have been on this site... a lot of stuff going on in my life, some for the worse, some for the better.
I got diagnosed as bi-polar just recently and have found that was a lot of my problems… I’m on medication for it… and have been seeing a therapist for 4 months now.
My husband and I had separated for a bit (by my choice), but are trying to work things out now…
