I think the reason Pea1 pulled a sympathy card is because she got caught with her panties down. All the posts about the sale cornered her so this emo card is to distract everyone from the fact she was hiding it from all the peas.
Now that someone else has a vested interest in this, finally..perhaps, the online store will be stocked. Damn place never has anything on the shelves to sell, just pretty pictures.
I gotta tell you, I was bugged about two things. 1) I believe it wasn't long ago that we were assured that 2peas wouldn't be selling out. I'm cool with people changing their minds and all. I just wish they could have worked it with Kaboose to be able to announce to their client base the same time Kaboose was making their announcements.
2) The garden girls, who never use the boards or show up or anything, coming over to tell us to back off, calm down, reassure us, etc. I admire some of their work very much, but the them vs us mentality was really distasteful ("Don't worry!! It's good! I promise you!").

Pea1 post was par for the course from a woman who had posted the most unprofessional responses to board issues I've ever seen. So the boo hoo post comes to no suprise to me. How this woman ever ran a business that could be bought for $600K is beyond me.
They are horrible business people. They should have been able to get much more for the largest scrapbooking site in the world, $600K is almost nothing. They ran the store into the ground and ignored the boards. Crying and whinning aren't a good business plan. But what else would we expect?

I'm shocked the store even stayed open. I'd bet that the main source of their income comes from the banner ads and cross promotions with manufacturers (ie., Chatterbox with the whole "watch the winner" gimmick). So, yes, I think and Jeff and Kristina are in this deal for the money. And frankly, I can't say that I blame them.

I was very surprised at the price tag. I would've thought it would've been worth more, to be honest.
Although I'm guessing that their lapse for the last year or so with the store probably brought down some of the value. They were hopping for a few years there, doing everything right. Then they seemed to basically just stop taking as much care of their business.
I agree with a lot that was said here; I hate it when people post how upset they are on one post and then when Pea1 pouts, they all rush to her side. I just don't get it. I've always been a supporter of her because there are a lot of whiners to have to deal with but she has seemed to have slipped in the professional behavior arena and I won't sit there and pretend that I'm not pissed about the way things went.
It's one of those cases where you're not sorry for what you did or didn't do, you're sorry that you got caught. And that's fine, I suppose, but it looks like she's just trying to play the victim in all this.

well..I dont know about the rest of you, but I can parent,and have a job also. So does my hubby. WHY can't 2Peas? I mean,someone said, their "other" job was parenting? ahh..sooo?? How do they bring in an income then to raise the family?
