Why Don't You Try READING It First
Here is a perfect example of a thread that people are just so quick to jump on that they don't take the time to actually see and read what is being said. Instead, they see one sentence that gets their goat and finish the post with tunnel vision. Then they open their big mouths and show what an ass they are. Even worse, the OP tries to correct people and go further in depth about what she is trying to say and people still don't pay attention. Get your head out of your ass people and pay attention to what you are reading.

I love Cara's solution. She thinks the wife should go get loans and go to school no matter what the dh says. She says it's not up to dh to decide for her. WHAT? So it's okay for the wife to decide to put the dh in debt? It's okay for the wife to make a decision that affects the dh without consulting his feelings? But God forbid that dh make such a decision.

I think it's the responsibility of the poster to be explicitly clear about what she is trying to say, especially when she is asking for advice about a situation. Once she came back and clarified, many people admitted that they made a mistake about what she was saying and changed their advice.
Federal loans are taken out by the student and the spouse is not responsible for them. If DH and I get divorced, I'm the one who owes the federal government, not him even though he's part of the reason I took the loans out in the first place.

If you read the damn post - THE WHOLE THING - you won't be confused. If you ARE confused, ask for claricification. If you don't care FINE don't care. but don't blame it on the OP for not writing her question is the form YOU can understand.

True, but even in the clearest of posts you have your same peas who will read only what they want to read then make up the rest as they go along to better feed the reply.

how about any myspace-like avatars. anyone trying to be sexy. there are a couple of sexy peas but none of them have those kind of avatars. the ones that are trying need to quit. I have a bunch on ignore just because of their stupid "sexy" avatars.
Peas love to jump all over a situation when it is in regards to a father-daughter relationship. Much of this stems out of the fact that many peas have horrid and/or non-existent relationships with theirs and therfor have a strange envy/hate in regards to peas who do.

you've got a nice blog here. people aren't going to admit it too much on the pea board but i think most peas like your blog and check it very often. i think you should make fewer entries, like one a day. making so many entries is going to make people get bored quick. make 'em wait for the good stuff by only posting once a day.

I think there's a huge misconception about how someone going to college is going to suddenly "better themselves." I have a college degree and I didn't become a better person. I just ended up 10's of thousands in debt. It would have been easier to just not go at all.
and no, I wouldn't make any less money without the degree. now, had I gotten a more USEFUL degree, that's another story.

My daughter just fell off her changing table
onto hardwood floors. We both cried but she seems fine now. I am waiting for the doctor to call me back, But now she wants to sleep. I couldn't find any bumps or lumps on her head but I am worried about a concussion (sp?). What should I do?
