Parents Should Be Tested Before Having Kids

You scolded and grounded your 9 year old daughter for a choice she made, and you are worried about confronting your sister? What a dumbass. Your daughter told the cousin she didn't want to go in someone else's house. She was on the right path. The cousin told her she would get in trouble if she went back to the Aunt's house. So as a 9 year old, Mommy Dearest - what would you have done? You had no trouble treating your daughter like shit for what she did, why the hell are you worried about telling your sister how wrong she was?

I Love You Mommy Dearest

If she already knows that her sister is not a "good" mother then WHY THE FUCK is she letting her daughter spend time over there ALONE? I lurve Parents that do this and then have the gall to complain about it.

Parents are supposed to protect their children!! If she was that worried about her daughter being unsupervised AND in a "bad" area then she should not leave her there. Simple as that.

It sounds like the kid went with her cousin to a friend's apartment - not to complete strangers, What does this mom want - her kid to stay indoors all the time?

This mom knew what her sister was like - maybe she should have set some expecations before she left her child.

Yeah, she overreacted big time. I would be upset with my kid for not knowing where they were, but to punish her for a week because of it?

I think that lady is taking her anger out on the wrong person. She needs to go nose to nose with her damn sister.

That woman needs some parenting lessons and a clue! Why is she afraid of her sister and WTF is she punishing her daughter? IDIOT! She should have said something to her sister and niece and NOT ground her daughter. Some people should not procreate!

I feel sad for the girls that she dragged them out like she indicates. Poor kids. There was no reason to humiliate them like that!

OP needs to put herself on restriction for sending her daughter into a situation she knew to be unacceptable!

I demand that George W. Bush's daughters, and his eligible nieces and nephews, serve in Iraq to prove their support of Bush's 'noble war for a noble cause.'

If the Bush family does not believe in 'sacrificing' for the war and is not willing to put their lives on the line, then Bush must bring the troops of middle class and poor Americans home now.
