It's Not An Adoption Site
Why does vix feel the need to post a picture of every animal in the shelter she works at? Looking at her post history, nearly every topic she starts has to do with her work. A perfect reason to have a blog. No one cares about post after post about little sparky found on the side of the road. If not a blog, move on over to an animal related board if that is all you are going to talk about.

Who doesn't like seeing cute pups? She's probably hoping that someone will see a picture and come by and adopt one.
There are so many nutjobs on that board so I don't see the point to criticizing a lady who has a caring heart for stray animals.
I care and I love the photos of her animals.
If anything, it reminds people how many homeless there are in shelters waiting for adoption. If just one person sees her pictures of those sweet little faces and goes to the shelter, adopts a puppy, and provides it a great forever home, then Vix's post was more than worth it.
That was supposed to be homeless ANIMALS waiting in shelters for adoption. ;)
Eh. She doesn't bother me. I actually do like to look at the pictures that she gets. Her pictures are usually pretty good. I have to admit that some of the pictures have made me want to fly out to the shelter she works at to adopt a certain dog.
I used to like her posts, but then I discovered as you, that she does not participate in the board and does only come here to advertise her dogs in strange photo shoots.

I doubt you are going to find too many people agree with you on this one. I think just about everyone enjoys it. She has a great heart for doing the work she does in the animal community. I'll bet people such as yourself are the ones who just drop their dog/cat off at the shelter because you're too "busy" for them.

I'd be MORE interested if she was within 3,000 miles of my house and there was a possibility I could get one of the dogs. What about 1 picture and a link to a blog. That'd be enough for me.
Vix does participate in other threads. She posts lots of beautiful pictures of the Tennessee countryside and of her jeeping adventures as well as other things.
Sorry, can't agree with you on this one. She's not hurting a soul by posting those pictures and even if not one pea adopts a dog or cat, she at least has gotten people interested in adopting from their own local shelters and made them rethink breeding.
I enjoy Vix's posts. I think it'd be nice if she participated on the boards more, but she does have a life. You know, saving the animals. More power to her! The work she does is more than I'd be able to take and she just keeps on. She's a stronger person than I am, and she does great things daily.

I would say I'm semi known. I have been on the boards for years. Have 10,000 posts and got tired of being ignored.
No matter how you look at it, this blog is funny. It just makes me happy to see that other people have thought similar things for a long time.

Ruth is known for having lots of dead family members that she brings up as frequently as possible. That and her obsessive anti-drunk driving campaign.
Mapchic is known for being a conservative, Catholic bitch.
Fern is known as the local lawyer.
aka Sasha is known as the local smartass.
I could go on and on. The reason they're known for whatever is because that's all they ever talk about.
Oblio is kind of stupid sometimes and doesn't make a lot of sense but it is funny as hell when he rags on supermom.
My favorites are when he says something rude and the poster gets all upset and then no one says anything against OBLIO and then the poster will say oh you are a troll.

Some people fall through the cracks in becoming well known because they don't spend time making sure they are giggling at every joke a well known pea says. Or constantly posting ITA to the right people. It is all in who you know.

I used to respect Vix for her work at the shelter, but not after this. It's one thing to help dogs, but it's another thing to treat another human like this:

Oh... and Vix is absolutely right. I had planned on breeding my Great Dane. Did you see my thread today? She had to have emergency surgery today and almost died because she went into heat and was not bread and got an infection. She's at the vet right now.
Yes, I made the decision not to breed her a few weeks ago and yes, Vix and her pictures had a lot to do with that decision.
I care. Vix, in my opinion, is one of the more valuable members of the board on there. Maybe she doesn't post a lot on other threads, but she's the only pea that I click on every single one of her threads.
I did miss her post to melissapaige, so thanks for the recap. All I have to say to that is "You go girl!" Vix lives with the reality of what happens to unwanted puppies and kittens. There is no excuse not to spay or neuter your pets. If your friends or family want puppies, all they need to do is go down to their local animal shelter. There are plenty to choose from.

Just want to point out that, despite her continuous need to demonstrate her knowledge of the law, Fern hasn't passed the bar exam and isn't a lawyer yet. There are actually numerous lawyers on the board (including Lauren). but they don't have the need to continually point that out to everybody else. I believe that's called maturity. (Yes, even Lauren has more of that than Fern.)
Vix does participate in other threads. She posts lots of beautiful pictures of the Tennessee countryside and of her jeeping adventures as well as other things.

I volunteer at a shelter and until you work with those sweet creatures you will never know how it affects your heart. Any exposure to get the word out to helps those guys find a home is great!

Here's what I know. About three years ago StephStanley posted on 2Peas about working at The Croppers Corner in Fredericksburg, VA. She posted about wearing a button or tag that said something like "I Pea, Do You?". She posted about everyone recognizing her at The Croppers Corner.
When Unscrapables started up StephStanley posted there about working at The Croppers Corner and teaching classes there.
Then she posted about how she was let go or phased out and how awful her bosses were to her. She went on and on about the owners being pentacostal or some other religion where they were dresses and their hair in buns, how they were so uptight.
The truth is that the owners suspected her of shoplifting and they were watching her. They caught her saying she was taking merchandise for her classes when she was really loading the bags with stuff for herself.
They counted inventory, set her up, and they caught her. For a few days, Steph kept calling in trying to get her schedule and they were telling her that it wasn't ready or some other bullshit until they got their attorney to file a restraining keeping her off the property.
If you want proof, go meet her and try to get her to go into the Croppers Corner. That's fairly simple. Stacyangel lives close to StephStanley, maybe she'll volunteer to do it.
The owner is LisaKanak (do a peanut search) and her mother own The Croppers Corner. Peamail her and ask her, email and ask her, or call her and ask her.

You admitted you didn't do especially well on your LSATs, you didn't have an internship to speak of, and you went to a very average school.
