We were also voting for Best Idiot from the Yuban Coffee pet thread. My vote is also for CheriV and Lip Balm, because they either abused their animals or put them down for no good reason, and then come on 2Peas trying to play victim. They don't get it. Annabella and Yuban HATE each other, and yet even Annabella came on Yuban's thread to try to talk some sense into CheriV, but CheriV just didn't get it. I would also vote for Yuban because I wasted 12 hours of my life reading that damn thread yesterday and I am now pissed off that she started the whole thing, and never hairflipped, not once. I was waiting for it all day and night.

Hairflip usually happens when a Pea gets piled on by a bunch of other Peas that either don't like her or don't agree with what she says. That Pea gets so pissed off that she eventually says F you or F this board, and swears to never come back again. Sometimes they come back, sometimes they don't, sometimes they change their name.
In Yuban's case, she started out as PeasHelpMe a few months ago and got reemed out by tons of Peas for whining about her marriage too much. She stopped posting under PHM and started a new peaname, Yuban Coffee. She laid low for quite some time but eventually got outted as being PHM by molove and Hope and some others, because she was posting on the same kinds of threads like nascar and Vegas I think. They recognized her writing and called her on it. She took it well and didn't deny anything.
Well, yesterday she starts that damn pet thread that I wasted 12 hours of my life on, waiting for her to hairflip. That was one of the worst pile-ons I've seen in awhile. I was waiting and waiting for her to tell some Peas to F off, or say F this board, but she never did. She stood her ground. Agree with her or not, she stood her F'ing ground and didn't back down one inch for the whole time.
TinaFB came on the thread at one point and (not nicely) told Yuban that Yuban could always start over again with a new ID. That was great stuff and had me LMAO. TinaFB has too many ID's to count.

I really want to post my thoughts on that pet thread now but don't want to start it back up again. It has made its way to pg. 5 of NSBR now and I don't want to be the one to bump it.
The whole thing urks me to no end. Yuban was spot on in starting that thread albeit she was a bit harsh. Those are things I wish I could say all the time though. The bunny, kitten, and dalmation threads she talked about are ones that I remember as being either totally stupid or just plain wrong.
I say, fuck all those peas who piled on Yuban. That's not to say I support Yuban - I think she should have posted her OP and left it at that. She came back too many times to defend herself when she didn't even need to, and added more fuel to the fire. Sometimes fewer words are better.
I wish I had been on there yesterday. I would have said something to support the pets. I'm sure there were many lurkers too chicken to do just that.

She totally ignored it. However, I think that it was her all along that was posting as her ex-DH and her SIL and even as her son. She was "stalking" herself. Here's why I think that:
On the night that all happened, Amber was supposedly visiting her new BF. She never showed up on Two Peas under her real ID. However, she did post over here on this blog as her real name, defending herself because some people on this blog were calling her a whore. So, she was posting over here as herself, but ignoring all the drama caused by her so-called ex-DH and SIL, even though a couple of Peas were even trying to draw her attention to it.
The next morning, Amber shows up on Two Peas and someone asks her if she had noticed the threads started by her so-called ex-DH and SIL the night before. Her response was something along the lines of "oh yeah, my ex-DH called me this morning and told me that he had posted some stuff last night." She said that that was the first she had heard of it.
She goes on to post about nothingness for days now, totally ignoring what went on.
If her ex-DH and her FIL were really stalking her on Two Peas, don't you think she would have quit the board by now? or at least stopped posting about so many personal issues? I think she is making the whole thing up. She is a train wreck waiting to happen.

Yuban said towards the end of that thread that she did have more to say about the dalmatian, and that she was going to go away and take some time to compose those words. I sat that lurking and waiting and waiting. 2 freaking hours later, CheriV pops up and pleads with Yuban to please not say anything else. Yuban said that she had already decided not to post what she was going to say. DAMN. That would have been good.

I understand why Cheri did what she did. We had an aggressive dog before that lived with us for years. There wasn't an option of taking him to the no kill shelter because he had a history of biting. Nobody would have wanted that dog, and I would have felt terrible if there was another chance at somebody else adopting it and somebody else getting hurt.
I do wish there wasn't an updated post and a photo added to that thread though. I felt strange looking at that dog knowing it was gone. Then again, it is hard to put yourself in that frame of mind that Cheri was in unless you have been there yourself.

There are dogs that are born mean. Not because of their breed or because of anything their owner did or didn't do for them. They are just agressive/dominant dogs.
These dogs tend to bite. The dominant/agression comes slowly sometimes in nips here and there. Sometimes it is an all out attack.
The lady who had her agressive/dominant dog put to sleep acted in a very humane way. Those dogs cannot (I repeat CANNOT) be trained otherwise. If someone sends their dominant/agressive dog to a shelter, it will live the rest of its life in misery.
The dog will attack the shelter operators as the dog becomes more and more frustrated with it's dire situation. It will pace. Turn in circles all day long...look to escape and will become crazy--literally lose it's mind.
By putting down a dog that has no hope to be retrained and has a change to bite someone else, that is the most humane thing to do.
What should she do? Send it to a shelter for it's entire life?
Agressive dominant dogs are hard to readopt out. See above. What if anothe family gets that dog and it mauls their young child? Their other pet?

If not, go back and read her posts. That dog was not aggressive all the time. CheriV said herself that that dog was a good girl most of the time and only acted out on rare occassions. Pay special attention to the part where she described how gently the dog licked the cheeseburger off her fingers.
