Paige is weird imo. Why does she need so much advice on every detail of her life? She seems almost unable to function without getting opinions first.
She strikes me as one of those rich kids. You know the kind whose parents do everything for them and shelter them from the world and life experiences. So when they grow up and are in the real world they can't function. I wonder if her husband will ever just snap one day and tell her to shut the hell up. I know I would.

I think Paige's only identity in life is her daughter's mother. And I think she has major insecurities about that role. Perhaps her husband sends her the message that these questions are annoying (I know they would be to my DH and he's not a doctor), so she turns to the only friends she has: the Peas.

You don't need videos, TV, fancy classes, or any other experts to stimulate your baby. Sing, talk, read, and play with the baby.
Turn off the TV, get down on the floor, and have fun with your kid. Encouraging your child's own imagination is better than parking her in front of an expert and letting her absorb information passively.
Play with your kids. It's that simple.
You don't only pray for people who are sweet or popular or well-liked. In fact, I tend to pray more for the people who aren't. How ridiculous to assume that people wouldn't pray for her just because she acts bitchy. Most of you act bitchy on here, so what's the difference?

I like the layout. It's not one of those staged, everything is perfect type pics. When I looked at the first pic I thought "whooo..don't look close" but when put with the 2nd page it makes sense. They were just floating there, having fun and had one of those little crappy underwater cameras. She tooks pics of him, he took of her.
I really liked her colors, so I checked out her gallery. Wow, take a look at her scrap room !! Yummy, and from her LO's it looks like it gets some use and not just one of those "for show" only ones.
Can you tell I'm killing time, trying to put off the jobs I need to get done???

I never follow any of Paige's postings because they always seem to be a "come see my daughter" posts. I rarely click on those especially if that's the only thing they ever post about. I like variety.
One thing I'd love to see hashed out is the constant barrage of prayer requests. I don't mind them when it comes to health/death but there are some strange things people requests prayers for.
Most of the time I've never seen these peas so the motivation isn't there to even open up their posts.
I just wonder how many people actually tear their fingers away from the keyboard and actually pray. I bet it's 3% of the number of replies they get on the thread.

My kids went to that has toddlers, not as babies. I stimulated her brain just fine at home.
Every move she makes she has to ask the peas for advice. Is it okay to have a babysitter, should I send my precious girl to daycare for a few hours, etc.

I love that lady's layout. Granted, those aren't the most attractive shots (not meaning anything bad about her or her dh, just that I don't particularly like looking at shots of people in their swim suits), but its an awesome layout. I also think its great that they actually took those shots and she scrapped them. I'm too self-conscious most of the time to be photographed in my swimsuit. They look like they're having fun.
Is she published at all? (I haven't kept up with CK or the 2Psgallery for several years now so I have no idea who anybody is now) I looked at a few of her layouts and I really like her style a lot. Great colors and not too many embellishments.

I agree. We did classes when my kids were babies (starting at 9 months) but it was mostly for *me*. An excuse to get out of the house - usually I would do it with a mom friend of mine, afterwards we would to the park, it was fun.

I work so that we can live a comfortable lifestyle without worrying about paying our electricity bill, so my kids can go to all the summer camps and extra curricular activities they want, so we can enjoy vacations that build memories and so we can pay for our kids college education. Just the lonely ones that have no adult interaction. The ones that spend hours and hours on two peas and have to consult the board before changing a diaper. I guess putting their infant in a class to have adult interaction would benefit them.

My mother was SAH but she wasn't up our asses every second of the day. We interacted with children our own age and she had her own hobbies, but was always there for us.
It seems that mothers are sheltering and smothering their kids more these days.

Yes, she is there all day posting. Until recently, her DH had to go back to the US to work while she sat on her ass in Canada collecting maternity pay while she also worked on the sly.

Oh guys...I'm in a pickle...seriously.
The process of making ends meet is hard enough with Chris not being able to work...and I was really counting on our US tax returns to be able to help pay off bills and such.
Just recently we found out that in order to claim Jay as a dependant (which would significantly help us, and allow us to have more $$), we had to get a Social Security number for him...which meant we had to get his dual citizenship. No biggee.
We got everything underway, but until we get the SSN...we can't file...until we file...we get no $$...and things are BAD.
It's been slow as all get out with my dad's office, so I'm not working that much...and it's killing us. I am still 'technically' on Mat Leave...but I've been looking for new jobs. The fact of the matter is, nothing out there is going to pay me as well as my dad pays me. It's a vicious circle.
Anyway, so yeah...I'm soooo frustrated. I feel like I have a vice grip on my chest.
Chris talks about moving back to Michigan...etc...etc.
Everything is just so up in the air, I can't wrap my head around it. I need to clear my head...ugh.
Lorie is a bitch and micromanages her board. She's worse than BEP ever thought about being on Grumps. This is what she posted about JenKirk, but we all know there is more to it than this.
