Do you think the existence of this blog has made any of the bitchier peas take a look at their actions? I think Lauren made some excellent points on Manda's blog thread.
I honestly feel sorry for the peas who are nice and are bashed here. I don't know what some of them ever did to get picked up on someone's radar. Brandi, Scrapbrooker, Moriah are 3 that immediately come to mind. I was incredibly sad to see that Moriah had been someone talked about here. I missed what was said and don't want to find it because I have always liked her.
I understand that Miss Jen, Manda, Keri and others may bother some people but I can't think of anything they did that merits the lashings they have recieved here.
I'm not hand slapping, just wanting to have an honest discussion and see what others may think about this.
I think that 2 peas has actually been a different place since this blog was established. The "mean" peas who would lash out at everyone and anyone don't do that as much as before. Actually most of them don't post as much. Peas is a happier place now.

Exactly. It's noone's business, but yes, I do pay support to my children (but as soon as I say that the same people that accuse me of NOT paying support will say it's not ME supporting my children it's my second husband (you know, that guy that they say I left my first husband for).
That said, WE (yes, me & my second husband) do support my three "throw aways". And yes, my second husband (you know, the one y'all accused me of leaving and throwing away my first three children for) has no problem providing support for them because he considers them part of our family.

I honestly feel sorry for the peas who are nice and are bashed here. I don't know what some of them ever did to get picked up on someone's radar. Brandi, Scrapbrooker, Moriah are 3 that immediately come to mind. I was incredibly sad to see that Moriah had been someone talked about here. I missed what was said and don't want to find it because I have always liked her.
I understand that Miss Jen, Manda, Keri and others may bother some people but I can't think of anything they did that merits the lashings they have recieved here.

Exactly. It's noone's business, but yes, I do pay support to my children (but as soon as I say that the same people that accuse me of NOT paying support will say it's not ME supporting my children it's my second husband (you know, that guy that they say I left my first husband for).
That said, WE (yes, me & my second husband) do support my three "throw aways". And yes, my second husband (you know, the one y'all accused me of leaving and throwing away my first three children for) has no problem providing support for them because he considers them part of our family.

My first husband and I had three children together. It's none of any of y'alls business why we split up, but it had NOTHING to do with Rik (my second husband), or any other man. I didn't throw my three children away, but also don't feel I have to explain why my ex had them living in his house (we still have JOINT custody, I never gave up custody).

If Kelli was a man, who had to move across the country, but kept in contact contact with his kids, paid child support, and had them every summer, everyone would say hey you are a great dad. But because she is the mom she is villified?
Actually I don't think it is okay for ANY parent to move away after a divorce but that is jmo. You miss out on too much of the day-to-day life stuff.
Kelli's husband is military, no? So she probably had no choice I guess.
I still think that children should come before career moves and second marriages but I'm in the minority I think.

Do you think the existence of this blog has made any of the bitchier peas take a look at their actions? I think Lauren made some excellent points on Manda's blog thread.
I honestly feel sorry for the peas who are nice and are bashed here. I don't know what some of them ever did to get picked up on someone's radar. Brandi, Scrapbrooker, Moriah are 3 that immediately come to mind. I was incredibly sad to see that Moriah had been someone talked about here. I missed what was said and don't want to find it because I have always liked her.
I understand that Miss Jen, Manda, Keri and others may bother some people but I can't think of anything they did that merits the lashings they have recieved here.

Exactly. It's noone's business, but yes, I do pay support to my children (but as soon as I say that the same people that accuse me of NOT paying support will say it's not ME supporting my children it's my second husband (you know, that guy that they say I left my first husband for).
That said, WE (yes, me & my second husband) do support my three "throw aways". And yes, my second husband (you know, the one y'all accused me of leaving and throwing away my first three children for) has no problem providing support for them because he considers them part of our family.

My first husband and I had three children together. It's none of any of y'alls business why we split up, but it had NOTHING to do with Rik (my second husband), or any other man. I didn't throw my three children away, but also don't feel I have to explain why my ex had them living in his house (we still have JOINT custody, I never gave up custody).
AFTER my first husband and I split up I met Rik, BEFORE he was in the military, we married, and have two children.
That much is true. The rest is bullshit. All of it, from me not paying support (oh, and that changes from me to not paying suppot to if it's my now husband then it I'm still a shitbag, WTF?), to me cheating on my first husband while he was on deployment with Rik.
Rik doesn't deserve that bullshit because it's flat out not true. None of it.

Do you think the existence of this blog has made any of the bitchier peas take a look at their actions? I think Lauren made some excellent points on Manda's blog thread.
I honestly feel sorry for the peas who are nice and are bashed here. I don't know what some of them ever did to get picked up on someone's radar. Brandi, Scrapbrooker, Moriah are 3 that immediately come to mind. I was incredibly sad to see that Moriah had been someone talked about here. I missed what was said and don't want to find it because I have always liked her.

Exactly. It's noone's business, but yes, I do pay support to my children (but as soon as I say that the same people that accuse me of NOT paying support will say it's not ME supporting my children it's my second husband (you know, that guy that they say I left my first husband for).
That said, WE (yes, me & my second husband) do support my three "throw aways". And yes, my second husband (you know, the one y'all accused me of leaving and throwing away my first three children for) has no problem providing support for them because he considers them part of our family.
What other claims were made against her?
I can't remember, but I'm sure there were more out there.

Well, I must admit I felt sort of stupid. But I was doing it to try to help Bella because she's my friend. So at least it was for a good cause. My children are all snug and accounted for. And I made an accordian album today. It was fun!
We also got the rest of their school supplies and they told me all about their day AND one of my daughter's friends asked me to read a political comment on his blog, which I thought was very sweet and endearing.
And they did their chores and ate their dinner and fought over their favorite kitty.

No, my ex didn't pay to fly my children to me. I paid for them to come here. And even when they're not here, i am talking to them almost every day.

Since you apparently do, I will put it all out there for you.
My first husband and I had three children together. It's none of any of y'alls business why we split up, but it had NOTHING to do with Rik (my second husband), or any other man. I didn't throw my three children away, but also don't feel I have to explain why my ex had them living in his house (we still have JOINT custody, I never gave up custody).
AFTER my first husband and I split up I met Rik, BEFORE he was in the military, we married, and have two children.
That much is true. The rest is bullshit. All of it, from me not paying support (oh, and that changes from me to not paying suppot to if it's my now husband then it I'm still a shitbag, WTF?), to me cheating on my first husband while he was on deployment with Rik.
Rik doesn't deserve that bullshit because it's flat out not true. None of it.

Children are happiest when their parents are happy. Just because she is divorced doesn't mean she needs to put her life on hold forever. I think everyone deserves a chance at happiness.
I don't think I said I didn't WANT them to live with me. I did. And they did live with me when we split up.
I've gone into detail about it before on the 2peas board (and look how that's worked out for me!), so I'd rather not now, other then to say that at the time my ex and I made a joint decision to keep the children with one parent if at all possible, and at that time my ex was the one that could most afford them.
I find it ridiculous I should even have to state reasons why I 'went on to have more children', but that's the reason they stayed with their father. Because he could afford to raise them and I couldn't on my own at the time, and we didn't want to shuffle them from house to house.
That makes me a shitty mom. To people who have never met me, my ex, or my children. Okay.
