Todays stupid question award goes to ksstanley. You said so yourself that you would flip your lid if someone talked to your kid that way for no good reason. All you have to ask yourself is this- 'Would I want someone to report this behavior if it was my child they heard a school employee talk to like that?' How fucking hard is that? Why do you need opinions and suggestions? Where is the conflict? Because the employee is your MIL? It shouldn't matter who the person is. If you were uncomfortable with it and would want another parent to report it if it was your kid, then report it for fuck sake. You don't have to go face to face with the principal (or who ever). Call and say you are a concerned parent who witnessed the incident.

I shouldn't have done this, but it's too late.
I just want to "The Nest" where my sister hangs out online. (Like the Knot for newleyweds) because I wanted to see if she's been complainging about me. (Bad, I know.)

So now I'm wondering... they had been planning a trip to London next month, but cancelled it. Katie said it was because her friend's mom got sick, that her cancer came back (they were going to stay with the friend)
Now I don't even know if Kat's mom is really sick again, or if Katie lied to me.

It's all falling into place now... she didn't drink in Reno, said she didn't feel well... has been all b-itchy lately... the comment on my blog is one example... she didn't want to go shopping with us (mom and I) on Saturday.

Jamie works, so it's possible we'd be late... but make us late on purpose?

Or I could, at dinner, announce that WE are pregnant. (I'm pretty sure Jamie wouldn't play along with that one though...)
I hate that she's doing this on our mom's birthday... it'll make it all about her (again) instead of our mom (it's her 60th)

That's the thing... we *do* get along.
She drives me batty, but that's a sister's job. She's still me absolute best friend on the planet.
Above all, it's that she had lied to my face so many times in the last month... looking at bridesmaid dresses, she only looked at "maternity" styles since she might be PG... no... she'll have a baby already.
Lying to my mom and I the whole weekend in Reno...

But I'm still with Lizz. I wouldn't be happy about it at all. I can really understand, being the middle child, trying to fight for my parents attention only to have my sister up one on me. That's how I would feel and honestly Lizz has every right to feel about it the way she does...there's a reason for that feeling and I don't think that anybody is necessarily wrong for their feelings.
Think about it...Katie will be having her baby shower BEFORE Lizz's wedding shower (if you're having one Lizz). Again...shower thunder COMPLETELY stolen. Baby will be born 3 months before Lizz's wedding. Can you imagine the wedding..Lizz has worked so hard to plan for and will be beautiful I'm sure and everybody stopping to dote all over Katie and the new baby...yeah I would be jealous and probably resent Katie for it. It'll be in December and so will the baby's 1st Christmas that everybody will be super excited about.

Because what happens is I find all this other stuff that I *must* have, and I can't get it out of my head.
Yesterday, in my web cruising, I discovered the fabulousness that is Red Cheese.
They rent photobooths for special events (Hmm.. like weddings perhaps?)
It's a pretty ridiculous amount of money, but I'm determined to make it happen... I'm going to sell some of my Sizzlets on eBay, and do a *major* purge of the old scrap stash and see what I can come up with money-wise.
I actually talked to a caterer as well, and got some prices from him... it's so much money... all of it is.
We're doing a lot better than I had thought though, savings wise, so that's all good.
I want this photobooth so bad that I'm thinking about doing silk flowers to cut that cost (my bouquest in silk: about $30... in flowers, over $100...) but I don't know... mom seems pretty anti-fake on the flower thing.
But she also thinks I'm crazy for even *liking* the photobooth idea.
Who knows?

Thanks for the support girls.
A couple of things I need to get out.
1. They have NOT been "trying" for a while. They've been talking for a while. ACtually, they weren't going to start "trying" until March.
2. A pregnant MOH I can totally deal with... I recently new mom, I don't know... (this going to sound very Bridezilla-ish of me) she's responsible for hosting my shower... now that shower is going to be "competing" with the baby for attention. Yes, it's childish, but that bothers me.
3. I am upset that she has told all of these other people, posted "belly pics" and lied TO MY FACE about it on several occassions.
4. I have been terrified of her having a baby with my BIL for some time... there are many things about their relationship that scare me; many things in their lives... the biting dog being one example.
5. I'm upset right now. I'm PMSing and hormonal. I'm pretty sure parts of me are overreacting, and other parts are totally justified.
I came here for support from my friends, not a lecture on what a horrible person I am.
Someone needs to bring that to MamaDep's attention.
If my sister said that about my baby, I wouldn't want her in the delivery room.
I believe this is Lizz's SECOND wedding, so I don't see why she is making such a big deal about this. What's the big deal if her sister is pregnant and the baby will be 3 months old at the wedding? It's not like her sister will be go into labor during the ceremony and steal all of the attention away from Lizz. LOL
I seem to remember Lizz posting a thread on 2Peas telling everyone she was going to be an aunt.
Seems pretty two-faced of her to act excited on 2Peas and then to trash her on another board.
Lizz has complained and trashed her sister numerous times on different boards. I was always surprised she would do this because it's not like her sister couldn't find out about it. I'm sure she has internet access.
Has Lizz complained recently about her sister "stealing" her baby name for her child? I recall her complaining that her and her sister both wanted to use the same name and Lizz was pissed. The funny thing about the situation was that Lizz wasn't even engaged yet, but her sister was already married.
