I'm talking everyday life, no illnesses, DH is not off in Iraq, etc.
My sister lives very close and has 2 kids under 3years old. She's always asking for help. Her and her DH stop by unannounced, sit on our couch, let the toddler run wild and make a mess and hand me the baby. The toddler ends up tearing my kids rooms apart and they just sit there.
I babysit when she has Dr. appts. and for occasional date nights for her and BIL. But I have kids of my own that need rides to sports, playdates, etc. My DH gets really mad about this. He says they expect too much from us--wanting us to watch them on a regular basis twice a week.
I would watch them once a week if the baby would take a bottle. She will only breast feed and this makes it impossible to watch her for more than an hour or so.
